All registered individual tax practitioners, and those applying to register with us, must complete a one-off proof of identity (POI) process that helps protect their personal information and meets Australian Government security standards. 

Due to our COVID concessions and the exemption to lodge annual declarations since 2020, a number of individual tax practitioners have yet to complete the POI process and will be prompted to do so at their next renewal.
