We are updating the TPB Register to give you more flexibility in choosing which contact details are published on your TPB Register record. The TPB Register provides an up-to-date record of registered tax practitioners in Australia. It is updated daily and allows users to confirm a tax practitioners registration details.

This enhancement follows recent legislative changes and supports ongoing improvements to the TPB’s digital services.

From April 2026, you will have the option to update your contact details on the TPB Public Register at any time via My Profile, or you may choose to do so when submitting a new or renewal application.

To strengthen security, a CAPTCHA step will be introduced for users accessing contact details on the TPB Register. This is intended to reduce automated scraping and phishing risks.

Under the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2022, at least one contact detail must remain published on the TPB Register. The option to request suppression of contact details will remain available where there are security concerns.

In approved cases of full suppression, limited location information (such as suburb) may still appear. In exceptional circumstances, further suppression may be considered.

For more information about managing your contact details and suppression requests see Help with using the TPB Register.
