Support for the Australian Capital Territory
As the COVID-19 pandemic in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) continues to progress, we want to offer our assistance to you, and assure you we are committed to supporting you during this difficult time. We understand you have a lot of competing priorities and are especially aware of the impacts on tax practitioners in the ACT right now as you contend with the current lockdown and disruptions.
We recognise that you are working hard for your clients. However, your health and safety and that of your family is of the utmost importance. This may lead to you having difficulty in meeting some of your obligations with us. With that in mind we are being more flexible in how we support you. As you may know, we have taken temporary measures in revising some of our policies and are providing additional support.
These situations can be difficult to navigate and we encourage anyone who needs assistance or is impacted by these recent events to contact us. We know many people are feeling anxious, stressed and scared and that there has been an increased demand on mental health services. We strongly encourage anyone experiencing issues with their mental health to seek assistance.
