The 2019–20 financial year has been one of the most challenging years for many Australians. This year alone, we’ve had to deal with bushfires, floods, COVID-19 and an increased threat of malicious cyber activity on various government and business organisations.
Many Australian businesses have had to make changes to the way they operate and service their clients. We, here at the Tax Practitioners Board, are no exception to this. We’ve had to change the way our staff work in order to continue to support you through these challenging times.
We’re proud to say that although this has been a tough year, our Client Services team has been able to successfully assist tax practitioners by finalising over:
- 5,700 new registration applications
- 20,800 registration renewal applications
- 37,200 annual declarations.
The team also assisted tax practitioners by answering over:
- 37,100 phone calls
- 21,400 emails
- 280 letters.
