Further enhancing your online security

We, at the Tax Practitioners Board, take online security very seriously and currently have a range of systems and controls to ensure your online transactions with us are secure.

From 24 September 2020, we’ll be introducing an additional security measure to further enhance your online security. Every time you login to My Profile to access your account, you will be taken through a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) process.

You would have used the 2FA process when you first set up your My Profile account with us. We are now extending this to occur every time you login to your account, thus providing an additional layer of security in line with industry standards.

You will have an option of having a 2FA code sent to your nominated email address or mobile number. You will have 10 minutes to enter the 2FA code in My Profile to login to your account before it becomes invalid.

Are your contact details up to date?

It is important to ensure your contact details, including your email address and mobile number are up to date with us. Visit My Profile to check or update your details, or contact us.
