TPB invites comment on draft On-hire firms information sheet
Chair of the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), Mr Ian Taylor, has today invited key stakeholders to comment on a draft information sheet to assist on-hire firms providing tax related services.
‘The information sheet sets out preliminary guidance on registration requirements and professional obligations for on hire firms initially issued as an exposure draft, in order to give our stakeholders an opportunity to comment on our preliminary views,’ Mr Taylor said.
He encouraged interested parties to review the revised On-hire firms draft information sheet, which incorporates considerable feedback received by the TPB on a first draft (previously entitled Labour hire firms) released in May this year.
Submissions on the exposure draft close on 4 December 2015. Comments can be sent to tpbsubmissions [at] tpb.gov.au.
All submissions will be reviewed and considered before the final information sheet is published on the TPB website.
