Enhanced online security

Our enhanced online security measures require you to create a:

  • TPB username, more secure than your publicly available registration number
  • password, meeting the 10-character government standard.

We also use two-factor authentication to provide an extra layer of security when establishing or confirming your account details with us.

If you have not logged into My Profile since October 2018, visit My Profile now to update your username and password, and confirm your details on our records are up to date. Your username is your TPB registration number, if you have not yet updated it.

 

Username and password resets

If you do not remember your username or password, click on the My Profile Forgot Username or Forgot Password link and follow the prompts. You can choose to receive a confirmation code by SMS or email to reset your username or password.

  • For an SMS reset - we will send a confirmation code to the mobile number you provided to us. You will have 15 minutes to use the code to reset your username or password.
  • For an email reset - we will send a password reset link to the email address you provided to us. It may take up to 90 minutes for you to receive this link by email. You will have 24 hours to use the link to reset your username or password before it expires.
