Renew your tax agent registration

If you wish to renew your tax agent registration you should renew your registration at least 30 days before your current registration expiries to continue providing tax agent services for a fee or other reward.

We will send you an invitation to renew your registration before your current registration expires.

Your invitation to renew will include your User name and a Password, to use the online renewal form.

Note: your User name is your registered agent number (RAN), unless you have previously updated your ‘Agent profile’ and changed it, or used the ‘Forgotten password’ link..

So long as you lodge your application for renewal before your registration expires, you will remain registered as a tax agent until we notify you of the outcome.

Late applications

You should renew your registration at least 30 days before your current registration expires. The Board will accept applications lodged within 30 days of your current registration expiry provided you give us reasons, where necessary.

If you do not lodge your renewal application before your current registration expires your registration will cease and you will no longer be able to legally provide tax agent services. If you wish to be registered, you will need to lodge a new application and until that application is granted, you will not be able to provide tax agent services for a fee or other reward.
