Renew your BAS agent registration
If you are a registered BAS agent providing BAS services for a fee or other reward, then you need to renew your registration before your registration expires, to continue providing those services.
You should make an application for renewal of registration at least 30 days before the day on which your current registration expires.
You will be sent an invitation by the Board to renew your registration prior to the expiration of your current registration. Your invitation will contain your BAS agent number (BAN) and a Password, which you will need to use to complete our online application form.

BAS agent notifiers to renew by 29 January 2012
If you registered as a BAS agent using the notification option, then your registration will expire on 29 February 2012. If you wish to renew your registration you should apply for renewal of registration by 29 January 2012.
On 28 July 2011, we wrote to all BAS agents who registered using the notification option outlining:

the two renewal options available (standard and transitional)

the registration requirements for both options

that renewal applications should be submitted online by 29 January 2012 – that is, 30 days before existing registration expires.

By lodging a
complete standard application early, agents may be eligible for up to nine months additional registration, on top of the existing three years, for the same fee.
To make a standard application you will need to satisfy the
education requirements and
relevant experience requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, then you may be able to meet the
transitional application requirements.

How to pay
Information on how to pay is provided to you when you are invited to renew and again at the time that you submit your application. Your registration cannot renewed until payment has been received.

Statement of relevant experience for BAS agent registration or renewal.
Use this form to detail your relevant experience in support of your application for registration, or your application for renewal of registration, as a BAS agent.
Schedule of personal details
Use this form to support your application to the Board for registration as a partnership or company BAS agent.
Add a new partner or director
If you need to add a new partner or director to an existing agent registration, you will need to provide a Schedule of personal details form for the new partner or director.
