Register of registered and deregistered tax agents and BAS agents

A person, partnership or company is not entitled to charge a fee for preparing an income tax return or transacting business on behalf of a taxpayer in taxation matters unless they are registered as a tax agent or BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (Board).

As required by the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA) and the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2009 (Regulations), details of each agent’s registration is to be made available to the public on the Register of registered and deregistered tax agents and BAS agents on our website.

If searching for an Agent Name, you can enter the FIRST NAME or SURNAME of the agent.

If you want to search for the full name of an agent you need to enter the SURNAME followed by the FIRST NAME with a COMMA and SPACE after the Surname.
For example, if you want to search for John Smith you need to enter smith, john
